March 26,2011, upon arrival of Chegndu airport, Mr Kekelia ( the first vice minister of economic and sustainable development of Georgia) and Mr Sikharulidze (the Georgian ambassador in China) set out for the 84th Spring festival Sugar and Alcoholic Commodities Fair held in Century City International Exhibition Center and visited our booth in the fair.
Our GM Mr Lu Kai introduced the Chinese consumers’ recognition to our imported wine from Georgia. Mr Dimitr Lebanidze, our business partner shared with us his impression and rewarding for attending the Sugar and Alcohol Commodity fair. Our efforts in promoting the sale of Georgian wine was highly appreciated by MR Kekelia and Mr Sikharulidze. The beautiful sales ladies we invited from Georgia were dressed up in their national costumes, performing Georgian style Dance for all the visitors.
Located in the foothills of Caucasus, coastal area of black sea, the beautiful country of Georgia is blessed with the warm wind from Black sea, the pleasant climate of Caucasus, and the fertile soil, etc, which are all necessity for the growth of the grape. There are over 500 varieties of grapes in Georgia, this number second to no country in the world. Among them, over 30 kinds are appropriate for brewing. Meanwhile, Georgia is also the birthplace of the wines in the world. The brewing grape seeds found to be left in the ancient times were proved to be solid evidence that the brewing history of Georgia is over 5,000 years.
The original bottled wines we imported from Georgia are so well sold that once it was short of supply.
