From Jan 3rd to Jan 6, 2009, China Chengdu Import and Export Co., ltd (CCIE) formally held its Annual Summary Meeting for Yr 2008 in Jiuzhai Paradise International Conference and Resort Center, the place titled “fairy-tale world” or “worldly paradise”.
In the morning of Jan 5th, CCIE employees gathered together in JinlingHai conference room. Firstly, department managers made a summarized report to yr 2008 and a job plan to the upcoming yr 2009. Leaders in charge made comments respectively.
In conclusion, GM Lu Kai made a wrap-up address:
First, Mr Lu briefly summarized the general situation in ys2008. Year 2008 was, indeed an uneventful year. Despite of the global over-whelming financial crisis, our company stood out from most foreign trade companies, kept an encouraging positive momentum, with the total import and export steadily grown, foreign exchange revenue and spending as well as profit reached a new high. Mr Lu also analysized and pointed out the highlights and problems in yr 2008. In yr 2008, with the focus on enlarging and strengthening one featured product, each business department successfully explored new business. Finance Department increased income, decreased expenditure, meeting the need of business departments. Logistics department make good management and support service. At the same time, Mr Lu required each merchandiser and department to expedite the collecting of payments receivable.
Afterwards, Mr Lu, on behalf of the BOD team, deployed the work agenda for yr2009, set a target for each department, required everyone to look up ahead, grasp the emphasis, work surefooted, closely follow the domestic and international climate trend, take good advantage of the opportunity in facilitating domestic demand and maintain growth, trying to make breakthrough in hot area and product.
In the afternoon, sub department meeting are held in each department to discuss and distribute the role of each employee.
After the conference, the team of CCIE enjoy the beauty and miracle of jiuzhai valley by the blue sky, the while cloud, stars, folk songs, Guo Zhuang Dance, Buttered tea and highland barley wine.
