On Jan. 4, 2013, the first working day of the new year, the Conference for Summarizing 2012 and Planning 2013 of CCIE was held in Howard Johnson Conference Resort – Chengdu crowned as a “five star oxygen bar”
At 9 am, heads of the business departments, financial department and administration department gave reports on the summary of 2012 and planning for 2013 in sequence.
The conference continued right after lunch with manager in charge commented respective reports in details followed by President Lu Kai’s summary speech on behalf of the BOD of CCIE.
After briefing the various indexes in 2012, President Lu Kai pointed out that facing the complex and ever-changing economic circumstances, all the CCIE people confronted difficulties with great passion and made fruitful achievements. Then President Lu vividly analyzed all the businesses carried out in 2012 according to the theme set in the annual year-end conference held in early 2012, “plan the further for development & promote transformation and upgrading to a new level”, and he then proposed the idea for development as “adapt to new circumstances & move forward in solid steps” targeted at the work in 2013, specified the tasks and targets for every department and emphasized the necessity to focus the work on import and overseas projects.
On the evening of 4th and the morning of 5th, all the departments had heated discussions separately. The passionate CCIE people stayed vigilant in peace time, kept self-pressurized for bigger progress and offered various advice and suggestions. On the afternoon of 5th, everyone gathered together again to share the new thoughts and ideas as well as specific plan agreed in group discussion. The fresh-new employees and some of the old ones actively share their feelings and reflections.
There is no denying that this conference is pragmatic and inspiring. Everyone expressed their willingness to keep the plan through, value the platform offered by CCIE, pursue great achievement by hard efforts, unite as one to enter a new level of development and promote stable development in better position.
After the conference, everyone went to enjoy the comfortable hot spring to relax, taking a breath of the gentle air spreading from the fairyland and relishing the great combination of distant quietness as well as man and nature. The fresh start, 2013, begins from here and now…
